About

This website was created by New York University undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in Creating Digital History, a hands-on introduction to “doing history” in the digital age. The course, taught by Leah Potter, focuses on the evolving methodologies and tools used by public historians to collect, preserve, and present digital sources. This website was created in fulfillment of the course's core requirement to create a collaborative digital history archive and exhibit related to the theme of “Wealth and Inequality in New York City and the Nation.”.
